How We Stack Up To The Competition
Our Material (Aggregate Jacking)….
Consists of limestone, Quarts, granite fragments, and powderized portland cement, allowing for optimal compaction of the weak underlying soil. Our materials can be thickened or thinned out for each application, to allow proper void/coverage filling with each situation. Our materials will recompact weak underlying soil and take a soild set within 24hrs, making this material the most suitable solution for lifting/void filling projects.
Our Competitors
Foam or polyurethane materials are newer to the industry. These materials are man made chemicals that start as liquid and react with air to turn into foam. Foam materials are uncontrollable and could cause Lifting to happen in areas that dont need it. Foam does not fix the weak underlying soil issues due to its lightweight construction, which simply won’t fix the real problem with settling concrete. This material also has problems with filling all the voided areas due to the reaction time with air. Foam can expand too fast not allow correct void filling.
“MUD JACKING”
“Mudjacking” materials typically consist of powderized lime, calcium carbonate, or bentonite. These materials can lift settled concrete, but won’t last long due to the non compactable properties these materials consist of. The Mudjacking materials do have alot better void filling coverage than Foam, but never take a solid set, which eventually allows the area lifted to settle back down.
